What you need to know about tomorrow's "Summer Slam & Music Festival"

The stage has been set. Literally.

Tomorrow, Wildwood hosts the much-anticipated 106.3 WJSE & Philadelphia Soul Summer Slam & Music Festival.

The centerpiece of the event, of course, will be a rock show headlined by Fuel, Hoobastank, and Alien Ant Farm.

Below are the most common questions we've been asked about tomorrow, and our best attempts at answering them...

********

Where, exactly, will the festival take place?

On the beach at Schellenger Avenue, just south of Mariner's Landing.

The concert is free. What does that mean?

Although the festival is "free," you must have a ticket to enter the concert area.

Are tickets still available?

Only VIP and cabana packages. They can be purchased at three different levels ($50 and $70 VIP, and $1,000 Cabana Packages), via www.wjserocks.com, www.philadelphiasoul.com, and www.ticketfly.com.

What the heck does the $1,000 Cabana Package include?

The Cabana Package includes a cabana rental for the day for eight people, Svedka Vodka bottle service, waitress service, draft beer, a "meet and greet" with the artists, pit passes, VIP tent access, and some more goodies...

What time does the festival start?

Gates open at 11 a.m. The first act (Ghost of War) is scheduled to play at noon.

Will there be transportation to the concert area?

Yes. There will be trolley service from Wildwood Crest, Wildwood, and North Wildwood along the beachfront starting at 9 a.m. to help alleviate parking issues. Fare is $2.50 per person each way.

What time does [specific band] play?

Here's the tentative schedule of performances:

Noon - Ghost of War (the winner of the 2013 Philadelphia Soul Battle of the Bands)
1 p.m. - Ballyhoo!
2:40 p.m. - Alien Ant Farm
4:20 p.m. - Hoobastank
6 p.m. - Fuel

What other activities will the festival include?

There will be a silent auction of autographed sports memorabilia, interactive rides and games for children, appearances from Philadelphia Soul players, coaches, the Soulmates and team mascot Soulman.

The festival will also feature a men's 7-on-7 and co-ed 8-on-8 flag football tournaments. Registration for has reached capacity.

What if it rains?

The forecast looks clear. At any rate, the festival will take place, rain or shine.

Can I bring my camera?

Yes, but video, flash photography, and removable lenses are prohibited without prior approval.

Can I bring food, beach chairs, etc.?

No outside food, beverages, or chairs will be permitted in the concert area. Beach blankets or towels will be allowed, but you may be asked to roll them up if space is needed for other concert-goers.

Will there be an "After-Party?"

Yes. The official post-event party with Philadelphia Soul players and the Soulmates will be held at the Boardwalk Bar & Grill (3500 Atlantic Ave.) from 7-9 p.m.

Hopefully, that covers everything. If you have further questions or need additional information on the festival, call 609-522-1987.
