The iconic Big Blue Sightseer is running a fundraising event for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society through Groupon.
Ashley Schumann, daughter of Captain Chuck Schumann, will be participating in the Nike Women's Half Marathon in Washington, D.C. on April 28th, an event that will raise money for the society.
"My father suggested we do a Groupon offer to help me raise as much money as possible for this wonderful organization," Ashley told Wildwood 365.
"We had a family member who had lymphoma, which I'm sure many others have as well. So, it really hits home."
Until July 1st, users can purchase tickets for dolphin and whale-watching cruises for over 50 percent off the regular price (tickets can then be used until September 2nd).
