Polar Bear Plunge Weekend is here!
Every year, the event seems to get bigger and bigger. While the Plunge itself will take place at 1 p.m. on Saturday (on the beach behind the Wildwoods Convention Center), there are a number of festivities planned around it.
Here's a look at the weekend ahead...

Friday, January 18th
Beef & Brrrrr Benefit for the Plunge
Admission is a $20 donation to Special Olympics NJ, which will include a beef buffet, drink specials, door prizes, and live auction.

Saturday, January 19th
Polar Bear Plunge Pre-Game
Specials include a complimentary breakfast buffet and $6 drink specials, with $2 from every drink to be donated to the Fraternal Order of Police.

2013 WILDWOODS POLAR BEAR PLUNGE
The big event!
Check-in will take place from 10 a.m. – noon inside the Wildwoods Convention Center lobby. Immediately following the Plunge at 1 p.m., participants can enjoy a free lunch. All pre-registration and after-plunge activities will take place in the Wildwoods Convention Center.
The Polar Bear Plunge is FREE for spectators. Plungers are required to raise $100 each or $1,000 per 10-person team, in pledges to participate in the event. Early registration can be completed online by visiting www.sonj.org. Additional registration and donations will be accepted on-site the day of the event.
Post-Plunge After Party
The party returns to the Bolero, with Bigg Romeo performing from 7 - 11 p.m.!
