Congrats to Jennifer Bakeoven-Mueller for correctly answering all five of our trivia questions (answers below).
Thanks to everyone for participating, and be sure to join us again next week for another mystery challenge. (Hint: it involves PIZZA!)
***************
After last week's Mystery Pic Challenge, we're going to change it up by going back to some Trivia. But, instead of asking just one question as we have previously, we have five questions to challenge our faithful readers.
The first person to correctly answer all five questions on our Facebook page will win gift certificates for two FREE 8x10 photos from Antique Images at the Boardwalk Mall.
(There is no limit on how many times you can guess. But, be especially careful when answering, because getting one or even four out of the five correct may help others guess all five. We won't indicate whether guesses are right until all five have been properly answered.)
Given that Antique Images is this week's sponsor, we figured we'd go back in time and test your knowledge of the Wildwoods' history:
#1 - Name the predecessor to Hunt's Pier, which existed at the same location from 1904-1943.
Answer: Ocean Pier
#2 - What was the name of the first Wildwoods' first roller coaster?
Answer: The Yankee Dip (at Ocean Pier)
#3 - What was the Boardwalk Mall prior to its conversion in 1977? (Specific name)
Answer: The Reagent Theatre
#4 - The legendary Red Garter in North Wildwood was later known by two different names. Name one of the two. (The structure no longer stands and is now home to Flip Flopz)
Answer: Jimmy's or The Beach House
#5 - Name two movies that were filmed in the Wildwoods (with Wildwood also serving as the primary setting) during the 1980's.
Answers: Touched (1983) & Birdy (1984)

Well, there ya go. First person to correctly answer all five will be our winner.
Best of luck, everyone... and have FUN!
