According to a statement posted on the official website of Xtreme Caged Combat, "The Jersey War" mixed martial arts event which was to take place on the beach this Saturday, July 9th, is now off.
"The Jersey War, presented by New Breed Fighters has been officially canceled by the New Jersey State Athletic Control Board," it read. "We deeply apologize for any inconvenience and we look forward to a possible postponement date in August."
No details as to why the NJSACB pulled the plug on the event are available.
