It's always a special occasion when a community rallies behind one of its own.
Joey Maloy, a proud son of the Wildwoods, is regarded as one of the top triathletes in the country and is presently competing for a spot on the U.S. Olympic Team at the 2010 Games in London.
To help him raise funds in pursuit of his dream, a benefit will be held tomorrow afternoon at the Bayview Inn Restaurant in the Crest (8100 Bayview Drive).
