Chickie's & Pete's set to open at Boardwalk Central

According to our sources, the new Chickie's & Pete's stand on the Cedar Avenue extention of the Boardwalk is preparing to open, potentially as early as Friday.

Update (5/19, 1:05 p.m.): We are hearing that they are now shooting to open next Wednesday (5/25). Signage is being installed as I type this. Photos coming soon...

The facility is fully-equipped and cleaned, the staff is in place, and the food is on its way. Only a few minor details need to be attended to before this longtime Philly institution makes its official Wildwood debut.

The stand sits on the south side of the newly-named "Boardwalk Central"; the west side of the 3500 block (spanning from Cedar to Schellenger Aves.), which is now under the ownership of Splash Zone Waterpark.
