Tickets on sale for Country Music Weekend

At 10 a.m. today, tickets will go on sale for the first annual Wildwoods Country Music Weekend, scheduled for October 22 & 23.

The events will include a concert with platinum selling country music group Sawyer Brown on Saturday, October 23 at the Wildwoods Convention Center. Also performing at the show will be former American Idol contestant Josh Gracin and Bomshel.

Tickets will also go on sale today for the Starlight Roadhouse Country Dance Party the previous night, Friday, October 22, also at the Convention Center. The party will feature live country dance music by After the Reign, contemporary country DJ Cowboy Kenn between sets, and line dancing lessons with Vicki Cusack.

The Country Festival in the Wildwoods on Saturday, October 23 (11 a.m. to 5 p.m.) at Fox Park will feature live music by Tequila Rose, Due South, and the Ann Oswald Band. Admission is free.

Plans for the festival also include a vintage pickup truck show, vendors selling country attire and memorabilia, crafts, food, contests and more. It is presented in cooperation with the Cape May County Chamber of Commerce.
