A President's Day Weekend tradition on the Boardwalk continued today when Sam's Pizza Palace re-opened, kicking off its 54th season.And, how quickly time flies -- this is the beginning of what is already the fifth year for this Wildwood institution in its new building, after the previous store was destroyed in the fire that claimed the Shore Plaza complex back in late 2005.
Sam's will be open on weekends for now, with hours and days of operation increasing in the Spring.Here's wishing the gang behind the counter another great season. We can't wait to get down for our first pie (and pitcher of birch) of 2010!
