Wildwood commissioners-elect Edward Harshaw and Al Brannen will be sworn in tonight at a 7 pm reorganization meeting at City Hall. They will join Gary DeMarzo on the three-member Board of Commissioners.
Immediately afterward, one of the three will be introduced as the new Mayor. Which departments each will oversee will also be announced.
Last week, Mayor Ernie Troiano and Commissioner Bill Davenport were ousted from office in a recall election. Harshaw and Brannen, who ran together, received the most votes in a subsequent polling to fill the vacated posts.
In addition to serving as Mayor, Troiano was also the Commissioner of Public Works. Davenport, the Deputy Mayor, was the Commissioner of Public Affairs & Safety.
DeMarzo is currently the Commissioner of Revenue & Finance.
