Moreys set time frame for new coaster

Our friend Rob Ascough attended the American Coaster Enthusiasts’ “Eastcoaster” event in Northampton, PA, just north of Allentown, this past weekend.

He reports that Jack and Will Morey were on hand to make a presentation, during which they spoke about the Golden Nugget ceremony and discussed the new coaster planned to span from Surfside Pier to the old Hunt’s Pier.

The Moreys did not announce an official date for construction to begin or for the ride to open, but listed a “realistic time frame” for the project to be completed between 2011-2013.
