NORTH WILDWOOD - Mayor Patrick Rosenello announces that on Saturday, March 15, Ann Devlin of the city's Recreation & Tourism Department will be honored as the Grand Marshal for the 2025 North Wildwood St. Patrick's Day Parade.
Ann has been with the Rec Department since 2010. She works tirelessly behind the scenes to ensure all the city's programs and events, most notably the St. Patrick's Day Parade, the Flea Market, Miss North Wildwood and countless others, are well promoted and set up for success.
Outside of her duties with the Rec, Ann loves to celebrate and honor her Irish heritage, serving as one of the "Galway Girls" at the Anglesea Pub. Ann also takes frequent trips to Ireland to visit all the beautiful sites the "Emerald Island" has to offer.
Ann is also a breast cancer survivor of over 20 years. Ever since her cancer-free diagnosis, Ann has strived to live her everyday life to the absolute fullest, all while displaying her kind and compassionate demeanor towards anyone she encounters.
"The City of North Wildwood is extremely appreciative of Ann's dedication to the city, and admire her outlook on life after defeating such a horrible disease," said Mayor Rosenello. "It is our honor to have Ann serve as our Grand Marshal, and we are looking forward to honoring her family's Irish heritage at our St. Patrick's Day Parade."
The North Wildwood St. Patrick's Day Ceremony & Parade will kick off at 12 pm on Saturday, March 15, 2025 on the outside steps of North Wildwood City Hall, 901 Atlantic Avenue.
The parade will follow the ceremony, marching down Atlantic Avenue to 1st Avenue, then proceeding west into the Entertainment District.
A Catholic Mass honoring Irish Heritage will also be held at St. Ann Church of Notre Dame La Mer Parish in Wildwood at 10 am, preceding the ceremony and parade.
In case of rain, ceremony and festivities will be moved to the inside of the North Wildwood Recreation Center at 9th & Central Avenues.
