WILDWOOD CREST – The Borough of Wildwood Crest will host a showcase of the new outdoor park located at the Crest Arts Pavilion on Friday, June 14, at 1 p.m. The public is welcome to attend.
The Crest Arts Pavilion is located at 6301 Ocean Avenue (Ocean Avenue and Wisteria Road).
The showcase will highlight the extensive renovations made to the exterior of the building, which include improved landscaping, a small performing arts stage, seating areas, fire pits, electric vehicle charging stations, a bike repair station, botanical gardens and more.
The Crest Arts Pavilion was created through a renovation project of the previous Wildwood Crest library building and opened last spring. The building serves as the hub of artistic activities in Wildwood Crest. In addition, the Crest Arts Pavilion also serves as Wildwood Crest’s tourism information center and as the site of sales of official borough merchandise. It also includes a retail coffee shop.
The building’s exterior renovations were greatly funded through the Cape May County Open Space program.
Wildwood Crest has planned for numerous events to be held there this summer, including children’s/family entertainment on Mondays, original live music on Tuesdays and more. More information on those events will be released shortly.
Light refreshments will be served. The event will also feature live musical entertainment with Rachel and Ty Acoustics. No registration is necessary to attend the showcase.
