The 2nd Annual Anglesea Pickleball Tournament returns to the Wildwoods ~ Saturday, June 1st & Sunday, June 2nd

THE WILDWOODS - The Anglesea Irish Society is serving a tournament in the Wildwoods featuring one of the fastest growing sports in the United States. The Second Annual Anglesea Open Pickleball Tournament will be held in North Wildwood on June Saturday, June 1 and Sunday, June 2. 

Pickleball, a relatively new sport, has continued to grow in popularity among all age groups. Players enjoy the ease of learning, the benefit of physical activity, and the sense of community it has produced. Many visitors and locals alike frequent pickleball courts throughout the Wildwoods from spring to fall months. 

The Anglesea Open Pickleball Tournament is an exciting event that offers mixed men’s and women’s doubles for players of skill levels 2.5 – 4.0+, and for ages 19-plus and 50-plus. The tournament will be played at Albert Allen Park, located at 2200 Delaware Avenue in North Wildwood, with games starting at 8 a.m. daily.
