THE WILDWOODS - With so many festive activities and holiday events planned in the Wildwoods, there are plenty of ways to experience the spirit of the season and create new family holiday memories. With lower room rates available, book your stay in the Wildwoods and experience the many ways to make the holiday season special for you and your whole family!

If relaxation is on your holiday bucket list, there's plenty of "chill" activities to enjoy. Be awed by mother nature with a mesmerizing sunrise and morning stroll along the beach; grab your walking shoes and binoculars and spend a day wandering through a local nature preserve; or enjoy a spectacular sunset viewed from the banks of beautiful Sunset Lake in Wildwood Crest.

Local wineries, craft microbreweries and distilleries offer local wines, beers and spirits not found anywhere else and are located just minutes away. Dining in the Wildwoods is a unique way to savor the flavors of the Jersey Shore and embrace the sights, sounds and smells of the vacation destination. The Wildwoods offer restaurants and menus for every appetite, every budget and virtually every taste.

From seafood caught fresh daily to fine dining or casual family dining, to Mexican, Chinese and Italian cuisine, the Wildwoods have every type of cuisine to satisfy any palate. The many Doo Wop style diners throughout the Wildwoods offer large menus and a unique setting that kids will love. The 2023 line-up of holiday events taking place in the Wildwoods includes five weekends of family fun events:

November 2023

Christmas in North Wildwood
Friday, November 24 - Sunday, November 26
Enjoy outdoor fire pits, hot chocolate, festive lights, decorations, a scavenger hunt and music while enjoying the holidays in North Wildwood. Olde New Jersey Avenue & 100 block of E. 17th Avenue, North Wildwood. Friday and Saturday from 4 pm and Sunday from noon.

Family Holiday Beach Bonfire
Friday, November 24
Enjoy family fun including music and free photo-ops with Santa and other winter wonderland characters, hosted by North Wildwood Volunteer Fire Company #1. Food will be available for purchase. A donation of $10 for adults and $2 for children 12 and under is suggested. The event will take place from 4:30 - 9 pm at 1st & Surf Avenues in North Wildwood. Rain date is Saturday, November 25 from 4:30 - 8 pm.

Holiday Shopping Village - Small Business Saturday
Saturday, November 25
Enjoy an outdoor holiday shopping experience at Byrne Plaza in Downtown Wildwood from 10:30 am - 3:30 pm. There will be local artisans and specialty shops, handcrafted items and decorations, baked goods, boutique shops, holiday music and more. Hosted by the Greater Wildwood Chamber of Commerce. Wildwood Crest Holiday Tree Lighting Ceremony
Friday, December 1

North Wildwood Tree Lighting Ceremony
Saturday, December 2
Christmas tree lighting event includes music, refreshments, free self-guided tour of the lighthouse and a visit from Santa Claus. Taking place at the Hereford Inlet Lighthouse Courtyard, North Wildwood at 5 pm. For more information, visit www.northwildwood.com.

Holidays at HenVille: Shopping Village
Sunday, December 3 & Sunday, December 10
Wrap up your holiday shopping at the annual Shopping Village at MudHen Brewing Company at 127 W. Rio Grande Avenue on Sundays, December 3 & December 10, with entertainment for the entire family. Wildwood's Winter Wonderland at Holly Beach Park

The Wildwood Recreation and Fire Department Elves and friends are back at it again this year, spreading good, old fashioned holiday cheer at the annual Winter Wonderland at Holly Beach Park. "Pinch the GrYnch" Boardwalk 5K Run
Saturday, December 9

Family Holiday Celebration & Tree Lighting Ceremony
Saturday, December 9
Enjoy a family-friendly event at the Wildwoods Convention Center from 9 am - 4:30 pm, featuring FREE admission to holiday-themed crafters and movies, photos with Santa, choir performances, children's craft making table, a magician, face painting, dance performances, Story Time with Mrs. Claus and much more. Wildwood Crest Holiday Lights Walk
Monday, December 18
Celebrate the season with a walk among the bright light displays! Starting at 5:30 pm, walkers will meet at the corner of Rambler Road & New Jersey Avenue and take an approximately 30-minute walk along Sunset Lake and the surrounding neighborhood to view the various holiday and Christmas light displays. The event is FREE to attend but registration is encouraged. All participants will receive a small holiday gift at the conclusion of the walk.
