THE WILDWOODS - Start your engines, Volkswagen owners and enthusiasts!
The Volkswagen community is bringing a family-friendly event to the Wildwoods - Friday, September 8 to Sunday, September 10, for a full weekend dedicated to the grassroots of the Volkswagen community.
Friday, September 8 starts with a barbecue from 12 - 4 pm at the Cape May County Park & Zoo, followed by a Pre-2K Cruise back tot he Wildwoods; and then a Get-Together (GTG) at MudHen Brewing Company at 7:30 pm.
Many of Saturday's pre-show events and GTG's take place at Byrne Plaza (3501 Pacific Avenue) from 8 am - 4:30 pm, and include an Aircooleds & Coffee GTG, MK1 Madness GTG, Corrado/Sciorocco GTG, East Coast MK3 and a Cabby Meet.
On Sunday, September 10 from 11 am to 4 pm, spectators can view pre-2000 Volkswagen cars inside the Wildwoods Convention Center and also shop for VW merchandise and accessories from a number of vendors. A post-2000 and pre-2000- judged exhibition of winners and vendors will be displayed outside the Convention Center.
The Roots Classic Volkswagen Car Show is sponsored by #volkscrack with Eurokraft Performance and The Peoples' Car Podcast. There is a $10 cash only admission fee for adults and free admission for children under 10.
