Monster Trucks will return to the Wildwood beach this fall

A popular staple of the Wildwoods’ “second season” is gearing up for a big comeback in 2023!

“Monsters on the Beach” Monster Truck Races & Truck Pulls will take over the beach at Lincoln Avenue,  Friday, September 29 - Sunday, October 1. The event returns, with an expanded format, after a 3-year absence.

The weekend will consist of three shows - two on Saturday (1 pm & 7:30 pm) and one on Sunday (1 pm). On Friday night, a Meet & Greet opportunity with the drivers will be held.

Each show will feature Monster Truck race and freestyle events, Tough Truck racing and a new addition - Diesel Truck pulling exhibitions.

“The return of the monster trucks is not only big news for fans who have been clamoring for it, but a huge boost to the Wildwoods’ fall calendar of events,” said Bob Sahasaylo, Executive Director of the Greater Wildwood Hotel/Motel Association (GWHA), which sponsors the event under the banner of Wildwood Motor Sports.

“This high-energy, family-friendly show adds to and compliments the island’s late-season offerings, further extending our events season. We’re ecstatic to have it back!”

“Monsters on the Beach” will be presented by JSM Productions LLC, organizers of the Wildwoods Spring & Fall Classic Car Shows.

The Monster Truck lineup for the event (always subject to change) includes Toxic, Be Aware, Illuminator, Shockwave and Storm Damage.

Tough Trucks will feature local favorites competing on the same course as the monster trucks, while Diesel Trucks from surrounding areas will battle in sled-pulling match-ups.
