THE WILDWOODS - Join us in North Wildwood on Saturday, July 16 for the Sun and Sand 5k Run and 1 Mile Walk, which benefits the North Wildwood Police Officers Association and its charities.
The race will begin at 8 am at the Greater Wildwood Elks Lodge, located at 1st & Olde New Jersey Avenue in North Wildwood. Registration is $30 for 5K and $25 for the 1 Mile Walk. The first 300 participants receive a free t-shirt, and awards will be presented to the winners.
All are welcome to participate in the event or to cheer on the runners. The individual awards will be for overall male and female, age groups male and female, 3 deep, 19 & under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+.
The team competition will be for the top three teams of Civilian, Police, Fire and Beach Patrol. Minimum five members each, top three on each team score.
