NJ Jeep Invasion postponed until 2021

Another major event has been rescheduled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

This afternoon, the NJ Jeep Invasion announced the decision to cancel this year's event, originally scheduled for June 26-28. 

Next year's date is already in place, as the event will be held July 9-11, 2021.

Hello, fellow Jeepers, it is with great remorse that we make this announcement, which was not an easy choice for us.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the absence of any sense of what the rules will be moving forward; as well as for the safety of all of our participants, vendors and staff members, we feel it is in the best interest of everyone to postpone the 2020 NJ Jeep Invasion until July 9-11 of 2021.

We know this is not the news anyone was looking for, nor the news we wanted to have to share. However, with the information we currently have, we feel it's the best decision at this point in time. It is nearly impossible to plan an event of this size not knowing future social distancing guidelines and we did not want to delay making a decision any longer so that all participants and vendors could move forward accordingly.

All current registrations will be automatically transferred to the 2021 event, no need for you to do anything on your end. All existing tickets and pricing will stay valid for the 2021 event as well. 

For those of you that would like to request a refund, please do so before May 31, 2020, by using the EventBrite refund request procedure or by clicking this link: https://www.eventbrite.com/…/en_…/How_To/can-i-get-a-refund…. 

We can also offer refunds in the form of gift cards, to be used for any of our future events. Simply type "gift card" in the message section of the refund request on EventBrite.

On the positive side, we do have a late summer date for 2020, that if rules and regulations allow it, we may be able to put together a smaller version of NJ Jeep Invasion for all of you to enjoy a day at the beach. We will keep you posted as we have any new information. 

We thank you in advance for your understanding regarding this decision and your continuous support of our events. Please know that the safety and well-being of all of our participants, vendors and staff members was the biggest component in our decision making. Although we would love to see you on the beach this year, we will be back for 2021, bigger and better, healthier and safer than ever before!

Remember, Fall Jeep Invasion is scheduled for Sunday, October 4 this year. Fingers are crossed that all this COVID-19 is behind us by then and we can have our normal Fall event on the Ocean City, NJ Boardwalk.
