A Disney favorite is coming to the Wildwoods Boardwalk for the first time, as the revamped Boardwalk Mall continues to take shape.
The Chillin Pineapple will be located at the front of the mall, under Capt’n Jack’s Island Grill. It will offer a variety of dessert options, including soft serve ice cream, 12 different flavors of lemonade and Dole Whips.
Dole Whips are soft serve dairy-free treats created by the Dole Food Company in 1986. They are best associated with the original pineapple flavor, but can be prepared with other fruit variations.
These treats have achieved something of a cult-like following among Disney park-goers over the years, and are not widely sold elsewhere.
At this time, the Chillin Pineapple is aiming to be open for Memorial Day Weekend, though a soft opening could come sooner.
