Morey’s Piers & Resorts hopes to be able to open for the 2020 season on Memorial Day Weekend, according to a note published on the organization’s official website.

Mariner’s Pier was originally scheduled to open this weekend, but the COVID-19 crisis forced a tentative postponement to Mother’s Day Weekend.
The fluidity of the situation has caused the date to be pushed back again. Memorial Day Weekend, generally heralded as the official start of the summer season, begins on Friday, May 22 this year.
“Clearly, the level of disruption and uncertainty for all of us is extraordinary, and for Morey’s Piers, this means that our traditional phased opening schedule for each of our piers and waterparks may require adjustment this season,” reads a portion of the statement, which goes on to stress patience in this most uncertain time.
