Once a staple of the island's entertainment scene, the Wildwoods have been without a comedy club since Club Casba closed up following the 2012 season.
This week, we learned that the laughter is coming back!
ACJokes, which produces shows at four locations in Atlantic City, will open a comedy room at Club Amnesia in Downtown Wildwood next month.

Amnesia debuted last year at 3700 Pacific Avenue, next door to the iconic Shamrock Cafe.
According to ACJokes co-owner Ray Vazquez, the Wildwood club will start out with one show weekly on Saturdays and work toward an everyday summer schedule.
The plan to provide comedy shows year round.
