LOVE is in the air... or maybe that’s pepperoni!
Valentine’s Day is a fitting occasion to celebrate the kickoff of Opening Weekend 2020 at Sam’s Pizza Palace.
The tradition begins anew at 10:30 am this morning, when the beloved pizzeria at 26th & Boardwalk opens its doors for its 64th season.
Opening Weekend hours are as follows:
Friday: 10:30 am to 7 pm
Saturday: 10:30 am to 6 pm
Sunday: 10:30 am to 5 pm
(This weekend, Sam’s is offering special edition Valentine’s Day-themed t-shirts for $10 - pictured here. Quantities are limited and shirts are available in-store only.)
Big crowds are expected throughout the weekend, as has become the norm in recent years.
Fortunately, the forecast looks good over the next few days - seasonable cold but sunny and dry.
Sam’s will join neighboring Gateway 26, Rapunzel’s (22nd Avenue) and the Original Fudge Kitchen (Roberts Avenue) and, surely, a few other businesses, as the Boardwalk slowly begins its annual reawakening.
