The Barefoot Country Music Fest is revealing a new performing artist every morning this week. Previously, it was announced that the three-day festival would be headlined by industry megastars Carrie Underwood and Blake Shelton, along with Dan + Shay. So far this week, Billy Currington, Jimmie Allen and Colt Ford have been added to the lineup. We will update with each artist announcement.
The Canadian brother tandem High Valley will look to spread its uniquely positive vibes from the Great White North to the Jersey Shore as part of the inaugural Barefoot Country Music Fest.
Brad and Curtis Rempel hail from Blumenort, Alberta, a tiny community near the hamlet of La Crete, nearly 3,000 miles (or a straight two-day drive) from the Wildwoods.
Over the first half of the previous decade, the Rempels established themselves on the country charts in Canada, with hits like 'Country Line,' 'Make You Mine' (featuring Ricky Skaggs), 'She's With Me,' and 'Come on Down.'
In October 2015, High Valley signed with Atlantic Records Nashville. Shortly after, 'Make You Mine' was released to United States country radio, debuting at number 59 on the Billboard Country Airplay chart.
The duo continued to make inroads with U.S. audiences when 'She's With Me' was released in the States in April 2017, entering the Billboard Hot 100 at number 96 and climbing to 79.
High Valley's latest single, 'Single Man,' reached number 2 on the Canadian charts and awaits release in the U.S. It followed a string of hits including 'I Be U Be,' 'Dear Life' and 'Young Forever.'

The inaugural Barefoot Country Music Fest will feature over 30 of the industry's "hottest acts and rising stars," performing on three stages on the Wildwood Beach from Friday, June 19 to Saturday, June 21.
