A glimpse of Wildwood on "Fear the Walking Dead"

One of those "Hey, I know that place!" moments...

Whether they realized it or not - and judging from the response we've received, many of YOU did! - viewers of AMC's "Fear the Walking Dead" caught a glimpse of the Wildwoods last night.

During the episode, one of the show's main characters, Charlie, is attempting to preserve photos of family that lived in the house where her group is taking refuge. At about the 23-minute mark, she lingers over a photo of four people posing at Morey's Piers (Mariner's Pier, to be precise).

In the background, the Giant Wheel, Sea Serpent, Balloon Race and top of the Tea Cups structure are clearly visible (though depicted inverse from reality).

The photo is shown again around the 43-minute point.

While neither Morey's Piers or the Wildwoods are mentioned by name and didn't factor into the plot, it's always neat to see our local landmarks appear on television.

It also makes you wonder, who snuck that in there?

Perhaps one of the writers, producers or someone else associated with the show is a big fan...
