Bannon's Ocean Cafe opens today, serving breakfast and lunch

The newest entry to the Wildwoods' year round food scene debuts today!

Bannon's Ocean Cafe will be serving breakfast and lunch, open 7 a.m. - 3 p.m. today, tomorrow and Sunday.

Both counter service and table seating is available.

This is a "soft opening" of sorts, with a grand opening date yet to be scheduled.

The restaurant is located at 333 E. Montgomery Avenue, on the northwest corner of Ocean & Montgomery - right across from the Boardwalk and the Wildwoods Convention Center.

Owner Dave Bannon brings years of experience behind the grill to this new location.

Along with his family, he continues to operate the Saratoga Grill in the Crest; the Bannons ran the Tom Cat Restaurant on Rio Grande Avenue for several years prior to that.
