"Minor Flooding" means that there is potential for tidal flooding to encompass Delaware Avenue up to New York Avenue, and "Moderate Flooding" will encompass New York Avenue up to New Jersey Avenue.

High tides for Saturday, September 3rd, 2016 are as follows: 10:01 a.m. and 10:12 p.m.

With the potential for high winds, residents and visitors are reminded to secure all properties and belongings including lawn chairs, umbrellas and trashcans.

Also forecasted is the potential for 4-6 inches of rain, which due to slow runoff, may cause extended and localized flooding in areas that do not normally experience tidal flooding.

Residents and visitors are advised to NEVER drive down a flooded roadway.

The City of North Wildwood does not anticipate opening an emergency shelter at this time, but please stay updated by visiting ready.northwildwood.com for the most recent storm related information.
