The 10th annual Classic Car Auction and 23rd annual Boardwalk Classic Car Show will bring hundreds of vehicles, car enthusiasts and collectors to the Wildwoods Thursday through Sunday, Sept. 22-25.
Hosted by Wildwood Motor Events and sponsored by the Greater Wildwoods Tourism Improvement and Development Authority, both will feature an intriguing display of luxury and exotic cars, muscle cars and classic cars, according to a press release.
The Classic Car Auction kicks off Thursday in the Oceanfront Arena at the Wildwoods Convention Center, 4501 Boardwalk in Wildwood, where the vehicles can be previewed 3-7 p.m. and noon-5 p.m. Friday. The auction, conducted by the Adcock family, will be held 5 p.m.-10 p.m. Friday and continue 10 a.m.-10 p.m. Saturday.
Vendors will be selling memorabilia, car collectibles, parts and accessories during the preview and auction. Admission is free to spectators.
The Boardwalk Classic Car Show will be held 8:30 a.m.-3 p.m. Friday and Saturday on the Wildwoods boardwalk, followed by an awards ceremony beginning 9 a.m. Sunday in the Convention Center, where prizes will be awarded to the Top 40 cars. One car will be selected as best in show. Admission is free to spectators.
