The Philly Pops concert on the beach, originally scheduled for Saturday, June 2, has been cancelled.
The show was set to be a part of the "Celebrate America" series of events, which will run from Friday, July 1 to Monday, July 4 - culminating in the big Tim McGraw concert on the Fourth of July.
We received the following message from Boardwalk Entertainment Co this evening...
Unfortunately, Boardwalk Entertainment Co has made the decision to cancel the Philly Pops concert scheduled for June 2nd. Our company strives to provide the best possible experience for all of our patrons. The Celebrate America Weekend will continue on Saturday with a beach barbecue and a free concert featuring local talent. We apologize for any inconvenience this has caused. All tickets purchased through UpcomingEvents.com will be refunded within 24 hours. We thank everyone for their continued support of the Celebrate America Weekend.
