Wildwoods Convention Center named one of the nation's best

Wildwood, long-known for its free wide beaches, iconic Boardwalk and world-class dining, is once again home to one of the top picks in the nation for sporting events.

The Wildwoods Convention Center was recently named a Readers Choice Award winner by SportsEvents Media Group, publisher of SportsEvents magazine. The magazine helps sports events planners produce sporting events throughout the nation.

“The City of Wildwood is thrilled that the Convention Center was once again recognized as a top sporting event venue,” said Wildwood Mayor Ernie Troiano. “Whether it’s hosting basketball tournaments, cheerleading competitions, wrestling, gymnastics, or any other type of athletic event, our convention center is unparalleled when it comes to accommodating sporting events.”

Sitting atop one of America’s greatest beaches, the Convention Center is just one part of the Wildwood experience for many event goers.

“Not only is the Convention Center a world-class venue, anyone who attends a sporting event there can partake of what our city has to offer,” said the mayor. “Our beach, Boardwalk, hotels, restaurants and entertainment all enhance a visit to the Convention Center.”
