The 2015 New Jersey Governor's Cup Wildwoods Hydrofest scheduled for October 3 & 4 on Sunset Lake has been cancelled by the event's organizing committee. The committee also announced that the event will no longer take place.
Ann Fitzgerald, coordinator of the event, cited the recent reconfiguration of the landscape along the Sunset Lake area as the primary reason for the cancellation.
"It is with sincere disappointment the committee must make this decision," Fitzgerald said. "We wish to thank the thousands of event fans for their enthusiasm along with our sponsors and the countless volunteers whose dedication contributed to the success of the event."
