Rubber Ducky Regatta to be held at Morey's Raging Waters tonight
For over 20 years, the local chapter of the United Way has hosted one of the most colorful and celebrated community events in Cape May County.
It's the annual Rubber Ducky Regatta, and during this summertime affair, thousands of rubber ducks take to the water for a race around Morey's Piers' Raging Waters Water Park to support the Impact Fund.
This year's version will take place tonight at 6 p.m., after the water park closes.
The Rubber Ducky Regatta is the county's largest and longest-running community focused special event. Its success is due in large park to a number of area businesses and sponsors, including longtime partner and host, Morey's Piers & Beachfront Waterparks, and title sponsor South Jersey Industries.
Additionally, a host of prizes are donated by local vendors to accompany the winning ducks.
Top prizes for 2015 include a Wildwood vacation courtesy of Senior Excursions Inc., a $500 ShopRite gift card, season passes to Morey's Piers, a flat screen television and more.
The event is FREE to attend and enjoy.
We hope to see you at Raging Waters (behind the Giant Wheel at Mariner's Pier) tonight!
