Happy National Lighthouse Day!

Celebrate over 200 years of lighthouse heritage, history and the contributions of those who have provided safety to guidance to ships at sea...

Today, the Hereford Inlet Lighthouse (111 N. Central Avenue) is offering FREE admission from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

A formal ceremony will take place from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. with keynote speaker Captain Todd Prestidge, Commanding Officer of the U.S. Coast Guard Training Center in Cape May.

In addition, there will be distinguished guest speakers, music, authors, artists, food, special exhibits and a children's activity area.
