Wildwood BID Introduces Free Family Movie Night on Pacific Avenue

The home of the successful Downtown Wildwood Farmers Market on Saturday mornings is also the home of the new Downtown Tuesday Free Family Movie Night!

Located on Pacific Avenue, at Schellenger Avenue, in Downtown Wildwood, both are great family events sponsored by the Wildwood Business Improvement District.

Downtown Tuesday Free Family Movie Night showed the movie UP for its season opener on July 7th, to close to 200 guests who lounged comfortably on their beach chairs and blankets in the grass under the stars.

Many attendees provided positive feedback after the movie, similar to the following that Cindy G. posted on Facebook: “Thank you for an awesome time last night. Can't wait for Despicable Me and The Goonies!”

The Downtown Tuesday Free Family Movie will be shown every Tuesday evening until September 1st.  The show begins as soon as it gets dark, which is at about 8:30 at this time of year.

The WBID has announced the 7/14 showing of Despicable Me and the 7/21 showing of The Goonies.

Popcorn, candy and drinks are sold during the movie and several Downtown Wildwood Restaurants are offering Movie Night Specials to attract movie goers to come to Downtown early for dinner!

The weekly movie title, restaurants offering Movie Night Specials and any weather related updates, will be announced on Facebook at Wildwood By The Sea and at www.DOOWW.com.

Downtown Tuesday Free Family Night Movie information can also be found at the Downtown Wildwood Farmers Market on Saturdays, at Pacific and Schellenger Avenues, from 8 until 12:30.

FREE PARKING is available for Downtown Wildwood Movie Night and the Farmers Market in the parking lot behind the Pacific & Schellenger Avenues property.
