PRESS RELEASE
Start
your morning off right and join The Women of Wildwood as they host their 2nd
annual pancake breakfast at the iconic Tom Cat Restaurant, located at 437 W. Rio
Grande Ave. in Wildwood, NJ on Sunday, January 26 from 8 a.m. - 1 p.m.
Tickets are $8 and can be purchased in
advance through a WOW member, by emailing thewomenofwildwood@gmail.com, or at the Tom Cat Restaurant the morning of the event.
“Last year we were able to raise over $2000 to
give back to our four local elementary schools,” said Susan McGee, WOW
president. “The money goes towards the
schools positive reward programs and we are very hopeful that we can surpass
last years amount.”
Chef
Dave Bannon is making sure no one goes home hungry by serving up your choice of
pancakes, French toast or scrambled eggs. Each breakfast also comes with sausage or bacon and includes coffee, tea
or juice.
During the breakfast, members of the organization will be volunteering their time working as hostesses, waitresses, bussers, food runners, etc.

“This is a great fundraiser to kick off
another year of giving back to our community,” said Maggie Warner, Media
Relations for WOW.
“Additional events we
organize throughout the year include the distribution of prom gift bags and donations
for local high school students, a Christmas in July Bike Tour to benefit the
Lynch who Stole Christmas local toy drive, and the Dragon Boat Race Festival in
Cape May, NJ which raises money for a charity of our choice.”
