Irish Fall Festival, Day 3

The ever-growing Irish Fall Festival is projected to attract an estimated 200,000 people to Anglesea this weekend.

Stop and think about that for a second.

That's close to 2/3rds the population of Pittsburgh descending on Olde New Jersey Avenue and surrounding pubs over a four-day stretch (and you can't really count Thursday, as the vendors and entertainers weren't set up until Friday).

Wow.

The largest crowds are expected today, which will be jam-packed with events, including a 5k race, pipe exhibition, and free Irish dance lessons, in addition to continuous live entertainment and the lineup of vendors on Olde New Jersey...

* Transportation Note:  Bus service from 2nd & Olde New Jersey to 26th Avenue (along Surf) will be running all weekend long; plus, additional service through Wildwood and Wildwood Crest. For schedules and more info, call 609-884-5230.
