Two quick notes on weekend events...
* Tonight's special Fireworks on the Beach show will take place at 8 p.m., NOT 10 p.m. like the regularly-scheduled Friday night shows during the summer.
The display will be launched from the beach at Pine Avenue, as usual, and will be visible throughout the island.
* Also, tomorrow's Firemen's Parade along New Jersey Avenue will step off at 2 p.m.
The parade will begin at Cresse Avenue in the Crest and proceed north to 20th Avenue in North Wildwood.
