Boardwalk Bucks app brings the savings to you

We're always on the lookout for good deals as well as technological advances in the Wildwoods.

The new Boardwalk Bucks app certainly falls into both categories.

It wasn't too long ago that business websites were a novel concept. Then, along came Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, etc.

The social media realm continues to evolve.

Apps have been around for a while, but the surface of their potential is just beginning to be scratched. The Boardwalk Bucks app takes the traditional "coupon book" concept, and brings it directly to your iPhone or Android.

Best of all - it's absolutely FREE to download and use.

"This is a great resource for families and it's very convenient to have coupons directly on your phone," Boardwalk Bucks general manager Vince Della Vella told Wildwood 365.

"You don't have to worry about forgetting a coupon, because they're all right there on your phone. We have a bunch of 'Buy One, Get One Free' coupons, along with other great savings. This is a win-win for customers and the businesses."

The app presently features virtual coupons for a variety of businesses, but more continue to be added. Della Vella expects close to 300 coupons to be ready by Memorial Day Weekend.

"Restaurants, Attractions, Shopping, Water Sports, if you need a coupon for it, we probably have it," he said. "It took over a year to build, but we're really happy with the result. We added a favorites section, so everyone can plan out their vacation and save the coupons they want to use when they get to The Wildwoods."

"We plan on making new improvements to the App, including GPS directions to each business and an option to tell you what coupons are in your area."
