Morey’s Piers Associates celebrated the spirit of giving at their annual holiday gathering at the Bayview Inn in Wildwood Crest. The gathering celebrated Morey’s core values of community and leadership by encouraging associates to give back.
The Morey family and their associates support many charitable organizations. During the holiday gathering, associates purchased raffle tickets to benefit Volunteers In Medicine (VIM). This was made possible through the support of vendor partners including Sysco, Sherwin-Williams, Soltz, Tony's Produce and Singer's.
Morey’s associates have been involved in giving generously to VIM since 2002. This year, Morey’s Piers associates were able to donate $2,500.
"We are all proud to come together and support our local community in any way we can,” said Kristel Jenkins, Events and Entertainment Manager. “It’s always important to give back, especially during this time of the year.”
In addition to purchasing raffle tickets, associates brought in donations of new toys, clothing and gift cards to local grocery stores for The Lynch Who Stole Christmas (www.lunchwithlynch/grich).
