Christie: Displaced residents can vote by email or fax

While areas of the Garden State continue to pick up the pieces in the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy, Governor Chris Christie has announced that displaced New Jersey residents will be able to cast their votes in Tuesday's election electronically.

A resident must submit a mail-in ballot application by email or fax to the local county clerk. Once received, a valid ballot will be sent back by the same method.

Completed ballots MUST be returned no later than 8 p.m. Tuesday.
