This Weekend: More FEARS, dead presidents (well, just one), Bonfire and "buggies" on the beach

Morey's FEARS - Terror on the Boardwalk returns for the second of three weekend sets - tonight and  tomorrow from 6:30 p.m. to 11 p.m.

The inaugural Halloween event at Mariner's Landing is coming off of a highly successful opening weekend, and we're anxiously looking forward to what the ghosts, ghouls, and zombies have planned for Round 2.

Did you attend Morey's FEARS last weekend, or do you plan on going tonight or tomorrow? We'd love to see your pics and hear about your experiences.

If you're looking for even more scares on the Boardwalk, don't forget that Morbid Manor (23rd & Boardwalk - Sportland Pier) is also open on weekends through Halloween.

Visit Gramma Morid, Shamron, and the rest of the manor's residents on Facebook, for more updated info and hours of operation.

Over at the J. Thompson Baker Home (3008 Atlantic Ave.), weekend festivities will center around the 99th anniversary of a visit from Woodrow Wilson.

Just five days after campaigning in Wildwood, Wilson was elected the 28th president of the United States.

Activities include historical guided tours and a special dinner on Saturday night.

For more information, call 609-729-4515 or 609-522-0060, or email David Williams at  davidwms1@comcast.net.

(Hey, who knows... maybe the spirit of 'ol Woodrow will make an appearance at Morey's Fears, as well. You never know who - or what - might show up...)

The 2nd Annual Bonfire on the Beach will take place on Saturday night from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. at 1st & Surf Avenues.

Last year's event was a big hit, and this one should be even better.

Live entertainment will be provided by Stellar Mojo and DJ QUIK.

Admission is $10 (kids under 12 are free).

Don't forget to bring your beach chair!

Windy conditions this weekend should make for even more fun at the Wildwood Buggy "Fall Bash," hosted by the New Jersey Buggy Club.
