National car show weekend begins today

One of the perennial favorite springtime events at the shore, the East Coast National Car Show, kicks off today in the Wildwoods. Various events and festivities will be held around the island through Sunday.

Cars will be displayed on the Boardwalk from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Friday and Saturday.

Registration is open to all makes and models, including custom, imports, tuners, trucks, classics, street rods, and modified.

Trophy classes include Top 40, Ladies Choice, Best Engine, Best Paint, Best of Show, Hi/Low Competition, and Most Likely To Get Pulled Over.
