The Greater Wildwoods Chamber of Commerce hosted a "State of the Island" luncheon yesterday, with mayors and representatives from each of the Wildwoods' four communities addressing current events and future plans.Mayors Bill Henfey, Carl Groon, and Herbert Frederick represented North Wildwood, Wildwood Crest, and West Wildwood, respectively. Commissioner Al Brannen spoke on behalf of Wildwood proper.
The session was held at Joey M's La Piazza Cucina Italiana at Pacific and Burk avenues.
