All-you-can-eat crab legs returns to the Wildwoods at Flip Flopz

NORTH WILDWOOD - All-you-can-eat crab legs returns to the Wildwoods every day this summer at Flip Flopz Restaurant and Bar in North Wildwood. 

The restaurant is celebrating its 17th season with a big kick-off to summer. This year, many new offers like a $29 every day dinner menu and a kids eat free promotion will be added along with the all-you-can-eat special. 

Flip Flopz is located in the North Wildwood Entertainment District on the corner of Spruce & Olde New Jersey Avenues

The AYCE Crabs at Flip Flopz will kick off in June for $59.95 per person and will be offered every day. Owner of Flip Flopz, Joseph Mahoney, hopes the offer will bring in current and past customers.

“Last year we brought in a new chef and redid the menu,” said Mahoney. “This year we will add discounts and specials like the all-you-can-eat offer. I hope past customers return to Flip Flopz to see what’s new and I invite new customers to give us a try.”

A few rules apply for the AYCE promotion, which can be found at flipflopznw.com/ayce. 

Some of those rules include a two hour time limit, a market price fee to prevent food waste of uneaten crabs, and the prohibition of competitive eaters. The promotion is subject to availability, although the promotion is set to be available every day. Some dates are excluded, like holiday weekends, as Flip Flopz is typically very busy.

“We want to provide this fun opportunity but we need to make sure our other guests are not delayed by this offering,” said Mahoney. “There are a few blackout dates to make sure we don’t neglect any guests. All-you-can-eat is a lot of work but we are prepared.”

In addition to the AYCE crabs, Flip Flopz will also offer a daily $29 crab leg dinner with 1.5 lbs of crab legs and two sides. Tables are limited to one special, meaning all guests ordering crab legs need to order the same option of the 1.5 lb special or all you can eat.

Flip Flopz is now hiring for the 2024 season and interested parties should visit the website to apply. Interviews will happen in the next few weeks. Opening weekend is April 5 for Flip Flopz and Memorial Day Weekend for Tiki Topz.
