THE WILDWOODS - Experience the Christmas season in the Wildwoods all Thanksgiving Weekend long with events for the whole family to enjoy!
From Thursday, November 23 through Sunday, November 26, take part in festive holiday activities, with everything from turkey trots and hot chocolate to small business vendors, and a few visits from Santa. Thanksgiving Weekend is part of the Five Weekends of Holiday Fun in the Wildwoods. Create new family memories this holiday season and visit the Wildwoods this winter.
Thursday, November 23 - TJ Hunt Memorial Turkey Trot
Finish the fall season with a fun Thanksgiving Day 5K run the whole family will enjoy. The 2023 TJ Hunt Memorial 5K Turkey Trot will be held on Thursday, November 23, beginning at the Wildwood Crest Pier, 5800 Atlantic Avenue. There will be a 5K run and a 1-mile fun walk open for all ages. Registration begins at 8 am and the race starts at 9 am. Children under 18 are $10 and adults are $30. All proceeds benefit the TJ Hunt Memorial Foundation. Following the race, all participants are invited to a post-race party at MunHen Brewing Company on Rio Grande Avenue in Wildwood. Those who register for the Turkey Trot will receive an event t-shirt and a free drink ticket upon arrival to enjoy. (Please register by Sunday, November 5 to ensure shirt size availability.) November 24-26 - Christmas in North Wildwood
Christmas in North Wildwood will take place Friday November 24 through Sunday, November 26, beginning at 2 pm on Friday and Saturday, and noon on Sunday. Enjoy a scavenger hunt with prizes, outdoor firepits, hot chocolate, strolling Santa, festive lights, decorations and music while celebrating the holidays in North Wildwood. The weekend-long event will be held along the Olde New Jersey Avenue Entertainment District. There will also be free Jitney transportation service from Downtown Wildwood's Byrne Plaza to Olde New Jersey Avenue on Saturday, November 25. Friday, November 24 - Family Holiday Beach Bonfire
Enjoy a Family Holiday Beach Bonfire on Friday, Novemer 24 from 5 - 9 pm on the beach at 2nd & Surf Avenues in North Wildwood. Indulge in fun for the whole family, including music and free photo ops with Santa and other winter wonderland characters from 5 - 7 pm. Food will be available for purchase. The donation fee is $10 for adults and $2 for children 12 and under. This event is hosted by North Wildwood Volunteer Fire Company #1. The rain date is Saturday, November 25. Saturday, November 25 - Wildwoods Holiday Shopping Village / Small Business Saturday
Byrne Plaza in Downtown Wildwood will transform into the Wildwoods Holiday Shopping Village on Small Business Saturday, November 25, from 10:30 am - 3:30 pm. The Greater Wildwood Chamber of Commerce presents this fourth annual outdoor shopping experience event with over 100 vendors for all your gifting needs. Experience Small Business Saturday like never before, with local artisans, jewelry, specialty shops, handcrafted items, holiday decorations, baked goods, boutique shops, holiday music and more. There will also be free Jitney transportation service from Bryne Plaza to the Christmas in North Wildwood event at Olde New Jersey Avenue. This event will also serve as a gift drop location for The Lynch Who Stole Christmas from the GrYnch Program, a toy drive for those less fortunate in the local community.
