Morey's Piers to host 46th Annual Amusement Park & Attraction Food Service Conference, showcasing local flavors and industry expertise

THE WILDWOODS - Morey's Piers and Beachfront Water Parks, New Jersey's premier summer destination for family fun, is thrilled to host the 46th Annual Amusement Park & Attraction Food Service Conference from Monday, October 2 to Friday, October 6.

The invite-only industry conference brings together food service professionals across the amusement industry to share knowledge, explore vendors and compare best practices across to expand food and beverage programs at theme parks and attractions nationwide.

This marks the first time in history that Morey's Piers has been selected as the host and organizer.

Denise Beckson, VP/Officer for Morey's Piers, expressed her excitement about hosting this prestigious event: "For many years, we've sent representatives from our Food & Beverage team to this conference to bring back insights from our industry colleagues. The conference is set to gather over 150 leaders from the F&B departments of amusement parks, water parks, zoos and attractions across the United States and Canada. Attendees represent a diverse range of establishments, from industry giants like Disney, Universal and SeaWorld to beloved regional attractions such as Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk, Holiday World, Dutch Wonderland and the Bronx Zoo.

This year's conference promises to be an unparalleled experience for F&B professionals, offering a blend of education, networking and culinary exploration.

Highlights include:

  • Local Flavor Showcase: The conference agenda prominently features local Cape May County businesses and cuisines with stops planned at Lund's Fisheries, Cape May Winery, Beach Plum Farm and more, providing attendees with a taste of the vibrant culinary scene.
  • Expert-Led Sessions: There will be an exceptional line-up of renowned industry experts to lead educational sessions for attendees. Evan Kalman (Food Stylist and Photographer), Greg Ciprioni (Former VP of Culinary Operations for Iron Chef Jose Garces) and Scott Steenrod (COO Live! Hospitality & Entertainment) are just three of the excellent speakers scheduled to present at the event. Topics will range from creating a visual story with food photos to best practices in menu development, operational excellence and beyond.
  • Business Partner Trade Show: On Wednesday, October 4, the Wildwoods Convention Center will host a dynamic trade show featuring more than 80 vendors from the F&B industry.
  • Networking Opportunities: Attendees will have the chance to connect and collaborate throughout the week during dinners, local activities and a networking cocktail reception following the trade show.
