THE WILDWOODS - Soccer players of all ages will have a blast on the Wildwoods' beaches during the Beach Blast Soccer Tournament - Saturday, June 24 and Sunday, June 25 from 7 am to 6 pm daily.
A second tournament, More Beach Blast Soccer, will take place on Saturday, July 15 and Sunday, July 16.
Beach Blast is a five-on-five, barefoot-on-the-sand soccer tournament played on the beach and hosted by the Cape Express Soccer Club of Cape May Country, with divisions for boys and girls U8 to U19 men's, women's and co-ed open.
The tournament takes place on the FREE, clean and expansive beaches of the Wildwoods in an event filled with competitive soccer and beach fun, surrounded by the famous Wildwoods Boardwalk and amusements.
Beach Blast brings over 1,000 youth and adult soccer teams from all over the East Coast to the Wildwoods to compete in the barefoot soccer tournament. Games are played throughout the weekend with fields located on the beach between Spencer and Poplar Avenues.
There is an entry fee for participants and teams. The event is free for spectators, so don't miss this non-stop exciting action on the beach.
