Barefoot Country Music Fest partners with Community FoodBank of NJ to fight against child hunger

PRESS RELEASE

WILDWOOD BEACH - We heard the call; the Barefoot Country Music Fest (BCMF) has proudly partnered with the Community FoodBank of New Jersey to fight against child hunger.

Nearly 400,000 children across the state struggle with hunger; the summer is an especially difficult season without access to the free school meals they rely on. In South Jersey, 1 in 5 kids are food insecure. This is our community, too - we want to give back.

Join the BCMF team in this worthy cause as we fight against child hunger. There are multiple ways you can get involved. Make a difference by donating; every dollar donated will provide three nutritious meals for our neighbors in need. You can also contribute by purchasing a raffle ticket, earning a chance to win tickets, upgrades, meet and greets, and backstage tours. Together, we can make a difference in the lives of those who need us most.

Help our children #TakeBackSummer and #FightAgainstChildHunger:

Visit www.CFBNJ.org/bcmf to donate today.

A portion of ticket sales will go directly to the cause, when purchased at the following link: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/2021-barefoot-country-music-fest-tickets-116250958747?discount=FOODBANK

The Community FoodBank of New Jersey (CFBNJ), a member of Feeding America, has been delivering food, help and hope across the state for 45 years. Last year, CFBNJ provided nutritious food for over 66 million meals through its network of over 1,000 community partners including pantries, soup kitchens, emergency shelters, mobile pantries and child and senior feeding programs.

For our hungry neighbors, the Community FoodBank of New Jersey is the powerful agent of change that fills the emptiness caused by hunger and provides resources that are essential to earning a sustainable living.

Brought to you by Southern Entertainment, the producers of the East Coast's largest outdoor country music fest and award-winning Carolina Country Music Fest, BCMF is poised to be the Northeast's largest outdoor country music fest, and the only one on the beach. The festival, taking place Friday, August 20 through Sunday, August 22, will occupy a 33+ acre playground located on the FREE and spacious Wildwood, NJ beach at Lincoln Avenue between the iconic Morey's Mariner's and Adventure Amusement Piers, making it easily accessible from the Boardwalk.

A Thursday Night Kick-Off concert on Thursday, August 19 was added to thank first responders and to the locals for welcoming BCMF to the community and start off the country music-filled weekend.

The three-day event will host 30+ of the industry's biggest starts and up-and-comers on multiple stages. The current lineup for the fest includes Carrie Underwood, Zac Brown Band, Dan + Shay, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Lee Brice, Billy Currington, Jimmie Allen, Jon Pardi, Chris Lane, Lindsay Ell, Ingrid Andress and Carolyn Miller, and much more!

BCMF will follow all recommended CDC and state guidelines regarding COVID-19 at the time of the event.

Tickets for BCMF are available now and can be purchased at www.BarefootCountryMusicFest.com.
