San Andrés Grill bringing "Latin Fusion" to Pacific Avenue

Last week, we noted the present volume of commercial activity in and around Downtown Wildwood, an extension of the trends we’re seeing throughout the island as we head into Spring.

Today, we learned that another new eatery is set to debut along the corridor in the weeks ahead. San Andrés Grill, a “Latin Fusion Restaurant,” is in the works at Pacific & Taylor Avenues, the former home of Pacific Grill.

“Fusion” restaurants, quite simply, feature a combination of different forms of cookery, often blending cuisines of different cultures or regions. We’ve been told that San Andrés Grill will offer some combo of Latin American and “traditional” American cuisines.

The menu is being finalized and will be announced soon.

San Andrés Grill is aiming to be open in May, and is now hiring for most positions. Those interested can contact the restaurant at 609-408-1383 or email resume to SanAndresGrill@gmail.com.

For further updates and information, check out San Andrés Grill’s official Facebook page.

Pacific Grill was previously owned by the proprietors of Union Park Restaurant in Cape May, with the "sister" establishments operating under the direction of renowned chef John Schatz. Union Park announced the sale of Pacific Grill in Spring 2019.
