North Wildwood’s Hidden Gem: Brunch at the Inlet on Olde

Breakfast is aplenty in the Wildwoods, but an up and coming popular breakfast spot has turned out to be North Wildwoods hidden gem

Serving breakfast, cocktails, and brunch daily starting at 9 AM, the Inlet on Olde aims to exceed all expectations for a breakfast eatery. The Inlet is commonly known for their daily entertainment and happy hour alongside their delicious traditional plates with progressive twists.

Upon opening in 2017, the owners set out to provide elevated plates in a casual setting. Now three years later, they’re raising the bar once again and pushing daily brunch

What sets the Inlet aside from other restaurants is the full service bar. From a Bloody Mary to a morning mimosa or brunch rosĂ©, the Inlet serves it all. Diners can enjoy a selection of breakfast dishes ranging from healthy to indulgent.

Avocado toast with eggs, bagel and lox, and fresh fruit platters are a few of the lighter options that sit alongside fluffy, berry topped, French toast and omelets with endless add-in options

On top of the delicious food, the Inlet on Olde features endless ocean views from their open air deck and now curbside dining.

“We try to create a memorable experience with our dining,” said one of the owners Puri Garzone. “Breakfast is something we started a few years back but we didn’t push as much as we will be pushing this year. We are one of the only restaurants that serves a full bar with brunch and has amazing ocean views and fresh air.”

What’s in the works for the summer breakfast push? The Inlet will expand their menu to include “mocktails”, Refresher brand beverages, and a new trend of “pancake boards” that feature 20+ silver dollar pancakes with berries, whipped cream, syrup and more.

The boards are taking over Instagram as the hottest breakfast item of the year, and what’s not to love about Instagrammable food?

“We try to be progressive and modern. The Inlet is a place where a couple can come for breakfast and have a nice, romantic meal, or a group of eight can stop by and have a group brunch with sharing plates and cocktails,” said Garzone.

The Inlet on Olde is located on the corner of Walnut and Olde New Jersey Aves at 101 E Walnut Ave in North Wildwood. They’re open from 9 AM-3 AM daily, serving breakfast, brunch, lunch, dinner, late night, and cocktails in between. There’s entertainment daily.

Currently due to COVID protocols dining is outside only, however on July 2nd the pub and downstairs area of the restaurant will reopen with adjusted capacity.
